This position is at the IT Services Desk Duties:

• Answering phone calls and assisting the caller

• Assisting walk-up users Helping the full-time and part-time staff

• Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues

• Running malicious software detection programs (viruses, malware)

• Installing OS updates

• Assisting users with retrieving/changing account information

This can be a stressful area at times, but is a good learning environment for those wanting to work in the computer or customer service fields.

Minimum Qualifications

• Able to grasp new skills and concepts quickly.

• Ability to work alone some times, but must be able to communicate well with team members

• Self motivated

• Ability to effectively handle users under much stress

• Must be enrolled fall/spring 2024-2025

Preferred Qualifications

• Federal Work Study Eligible students preferred.
