The Sr. IT Project Manager (IT-PM) is responsible for completion and delivery of assigned projects, which may include requirements gathering, planning, scheduling, coordinating and/or approval of projects, as well as guiding project to its completion. This role requires the ability to develop and manage project plans, revising as needed to meet changing needs and requirements; leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent; identify resource needs; maintain key project and process documentation and manage risks / issues as appropriate; and effectively communicate to ensure delivery. The role also requires strong influencing skills to effectively drive project/process efforts.

This role will primarily work with the Information Security Team. This team is responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Bank's data as well as any Information Systems that store, process or transmit that data.


  • Manages multiple initiatives simultaneously using strong time management and prioritization skills

  • Builds relationships with IT and collaborates with key stakeholders outside of IT to ensure delivery of commitments

  • Interfaces with project team members and various personnel and departments in order to achieve project results.

  • This is an individual contributor job responsible for managing projects, but is not responsible for directly managing other employees.

  • Proactively coordinates the activities of internal and external resources to maintain project timelines, and reactively engage the organization in problem resolution when necessary.

  • Effectively communicates project status to team members and management on a timely basis.

  • Provides recommendations regarding cost estimates, schedules, implementation issues, and changes to project plan as appropriate.

  • PM leads small to large scale or complex company initiatives, developing first-time processes as needed.


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Project Management discipline

  • PMP Certification a plus

  • Experience with Agile methodologies/Certified ScrumMaster a plus


  • Minimum of five years' experience as a project manager

  • Experience with PCI, Data Loss Prevention, and Identity and Access Management

  • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals, including requirement definition, resource scheduling, risk mitigation and change management

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft products Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project

  • Good oral and written (spelling and grammar) communications skills

  • Ability to track project tasks and timelines to ensure project milestones are met


  • Ability to follow instructions, organize work habits and recognize priorities

  • Ability to communicate with others clearly and effectively

  • Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining composure, and meeting deadlines
