IT Security Architect

Technical/Functional Skills:

Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g.,

NIST, ISO 27001), and best practices.

Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion

detection/prevention systems, SIEM, DLP, and encryption.

Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud

environments.

Knowledge of network security, application security, and endpoint

protection.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

Develop and maintain the enterprise security architecture framework.

Align security initiatives with enterprise IT strategy and business

goals.

Understanding on internal and external security assessments and

audits to manage enterprise risks.

Architecture Design:

Having Handson experience on multi- cloud and Hybrid environments

Design and implement security strategy with design principles

Ensure that security architecture meets regulatory and compliance

requirements.

Develop security policies, standards, and guidelines for system

architecture.

Implementation & Integration:

Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security

practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Implement security controls and countermeasures to protect against

threats.

Oversee the deployment of security solutions and ensure their

effective operation.

Risk Management:

Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability assessments.

Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

Monitor and analyze security incidents to identify root causes and

implement corrective actions.

Collaboration & Leadership:

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security staff and other

team members.

Work with stakeholders across the organization to promote security

awareness and best practices.

Liaise with external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies as

needed.
