We have a Contract role for a IT Scrum Master with our client in Franklin Lakes, NJ. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
The details of the position are:
Your role will be as leader for 2 3 scrum teams currently operating within the Agile framework. Leads development teams through more complex situations.
May lead teams that are less mature, in order to increase and grow scrum maturity. Works independently and represents scrum masters across the organization. Guides teams through completion of milestones associated with the most complex/critical/valuable products.
Use quantitative metrics and qualitative insights to discover and highlight for the team cause for celebration and opportunities for continuous improvement. Other responsibilities may include but not limited to:
Mastery of Agile practices, principles & methodologies
Advocate agile across the organization
Contribute to agile growth of the organization
May participate in the hiring process of scrum masters
Begin tackling organizational impediments
Become a leader of peers
Mentor G & H level scrum masters
Comfortable opposing anti-patterns
Strong collaboration with leadership groups (CTPOs, Directors, Sr.
Mangers, Architects)
Willingness to have a director level or higher as a mentor
Participate in cross-departmental efforts
JIRA & Confluence expert
Able to teach Scrum, Kanban, TDD, BDD, XP
Can start and facilitate Scrum of Scrums
Leads initiatives within the community of practice
Knowledge and Abilities:
BA/BS Degree (or equivalent experience)
At least 8 12 years experience as a scrum master for multiple scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations/cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.).
Skilled and knowledgeable of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment of others, and transparency.
Experience applying numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
Ability to work in other frameworks beyond scrum (such as Kanban, XP).
High emotional intelligence.
Track record of continued and recent education in scrum, including training, conferences, user groups, and self-study. Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques (user stores, ATDD, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, agile games.
Previous leadership experience a plus; including excellent teaching, coaching and mentoring skills.
Certification:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) active preferred and or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) active preferred

This role is required to execute the day-to-day analytical and insight generation needs of the business. This includes, but is not limited to; long-term forecasting and modelling, analytical outputs to support annual budgeting and quarterly projection, supply chain analytics, pricing analysis, scenario planning, modelling of new product adoption, product lifecycle analysis, modelling of incentive and promotional programs, marketing automation analysis and promotional spend impact, and salesforce effectiveness. The role will lead the production and management of all necessary KDG dashboards and periodic reporting, This includes establishing and tracking leading and lagging indicators of business performance to assist strategic planning, the management of tactical execution and decision making. The Associate will be a strong individual contributor, who is able to work effectively to support the needs of multiple functions in the US region. They will be agile and action orientated, but equally focused on attention to detail and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a downstream commercial team, supporting marketing and sales Associates. They will also be strong in insight generation – helping teams and Associates to process and understand data. Responsibilities: * Complete the 10 year market model annually, and update as necessary throughout the year to support multiple business processes * Support demand forecasting and revenue projections – ASR, annual budgeting, quarterly projections and monthly sales performance analysis * Support the bottoms-up forecasting of new products at all stages of the new product development process, including environmental analysis to support opportunity assessment * Support all analytical needs related to competitive scenario planning * Track and report GHX data to support business planning and business operations * Maintain databases of competitive and market intelligence to support business operations * Produce all periodic dashboards, tracking leading and lagging indicators to support the regional (directly) and global (indirectly) KDG management process * Support the channel management process, inclusive of DIOH analysis and reporting, tracking of incentives and business impact, analysis of channel marketing programs, and analysis of channel projection strategies and ROI * Perform complex and custom analysis to support the development of pricing and contracting strategies. Analyze price trends and price impact as well as profitability assessments across all customer segments * Provide actionable insights to the business related to customer buying trends across GPOs, NRLs and Alternate Sites, both contracted and non-contracted sales * Support the assessment of marketing program, including marketing automation, and salesforce effectiveness * Support the development of total cost of ownership/usage models and HEOR models * Provide Ad-hoc reporting to the marketing and sales functions, and key business partners * Provide accurate/timely data in a usable/automated format to visualize trends relative to strategy * Work closely with the commercial team to develop insights leading to profitable growth – support all analytical requirements in the development of growth accelerator scenarios Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
