IT Real Property Instructional Strategist

Key Role:

Manage the development of new TRIRIGA training content for Air Force client users, including editing technical training content for clarity and brevity. Test the final product by working with configuration leads, designers, and subject matter experts to ensure content is comprehensible and appropriate for the Air Force audience. Demonstrate complete comprehension of a wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the training and education field. Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems that face users. Ensure solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. Work under only general direction. Maintain training materials in a strict Agile configuration construct.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with Air Force terms, definitions, business processes, rules, and regulations

  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio

  • Knowledge of legacy Air Force civil engineer IT systems, including the Interim Work Information Management System (IWIMS) and Automated Civil Engineering System (ACES)

  • Ability to think creatively and perform with agility in a dynamic, geographically dispersed, multi-functional team environment

  • Ability to scale communication effectively with clients, subject matter experts, and other members of the team in multiple formats to help foster collaboration

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with courseware development tools, including Adobe Captive or Articulate

  • Experience with authoring engaging technical content tailored to a military audience

  • Experience with working on DoD training and education programs

  • Knowledge of the principles and methods of training and instructional design

  • Knowledge of TRIRIGA

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including expertise in editing

Simulation and Analysis Facility (SIMAF) Facility & Infrastructure (F&I) support will require the cost-effective purchasing of materials including hardware, software, tools, maintenance, licenses and other items necessary to support a Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) infrastructure. Additional SIMAF F&I support activities include Real Property Building Management (RPBM), Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Management, Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) Compliance, Mishap Notification, Mishap Investigation, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health (ESOH) and Contract Safety Management. For additional company information, please visit: Responsibilities The Purchasing Specialist shall work with the SIMAF F&I team to purchase key infrastructure materials, including special purchases related to specific task orders. The Purchasing Specialist assists the SIMAF RPBM with building repairs and maintenance by helping arrange for work permits/orders with 88th/CEG, independent contractors and specialized service providers, Civil Engineering (CE) and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) Area B Fire Department. The purchasing Specialist also tracks HAZMAT material according to SIMAF's HAZMAT handling procedures and the Air Force-wide Enterprise Environmental Safety and Occupational Management Information System (EESOH-MIS). In this capacity, the Purchasing Specialist assists the SIMAF F&I Manager with HAZMAT compliance, including the procurement, storage, accountability and disposal of HAZMAT material, including a robust HAZMAT Management Plan and quality management effort. Our purchasing specialist attends the WPFAB quarterly HAZMAT meetings to ensure the most current compliance. The Purchasing Specialist also supports the SIMAF F&I manager with enforcement of OSHA, National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA), and OSHA Hazardous Communications Act requirements applying the principles of the Voluntary Protection Program to include reporting the Total Case Incidence Rate, Days Away Restricted and Transfer Case Incident rates and OSHA reporting. Finally, the Purchasing Specialist woks with the F&I team to ensure compliance with the SIMAF Safety and Health Program and other (i.e., AFLCMC, AFLCMC/XZ Capabilities Integration Directorate, 88ABW, WPAFB Area B Fire Department, state and local) related requirements.
