Our Information Services Division (ISD) is recruiting for a data driven Quality Assurance Tester to provide software analysis for this growing and unique team!

As a Quality Assurance Tester, your knowledge in testing will greatly benefit our team as we work on software testing for driver, vehicle, and prorate fuel tax. Ensuring compliance with requirements is essential as we support systems that facilitate data exchange with various stakeholders, including citizens, businesses, and government agencies. Your accuracy and reliability of the data are crucial for public safety and inform decisions made by our agency, law enforcement, courts, employers, and insurance companies. Your primary focus as a Quality Assurance Tester will be on delivering high-quality testing services by establishing and executing dependable IT systems.
Some of what you will do:
Perform analysis research, design, troubleshooting, testing and application support.
Create, maintain, and execute test scenarios.
Lead small to medium sized testing efforts and assist the project manager on small to medium scale projects.
Document or ensure there is test traceability to requirements, business rules and/or user stories.
Use defect tracking software tools and maintain a test documentation library.
What you will bring:
Four (4) years of Information Technology experience in:
Consulting
Analyzing
Designing
Programming
Testing
Maintaining software applications
Supporting software development projects.
Or
Experience can be obtained concurrently.
Up to four (4) years of relevant education may substitute year for year for experience.
(Associates degree = 2 years Bachelor's degree = 4 years)
What may set you apart:
Testing Certification
Quality Assurance Institute (QAI).
American Society for Quality (ASQ).
International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB).
International Institute for Software Testing (IIST).
An Associate or Bachelor's degree in information technology education.
Proven experience implementing, designing, or testing an Enterprise COTS solution.
Certification as a Lean consultant. (Yellow or Green Belt)
Business knowledge of
Vehicles Licensing
Drivers Licensing
