The IT Quality Assurance Manager is a hands-on position that will play a critical part in building a first-class Quality Assurance team. The IT QA Manager will provide technical leadership, expertise and direction in all areas of testing our Lab Information Management Systems (LIMS) to include but not limited to Unit, Integration, Functional, End-to-end, Regression, Acceptance, Performance, Automated, Exploratory and Smoke Testing.

This candidate will be responsible for analyzing business, functional, and technical requirements as well as the development and execution of structured test cases to prove fulfillment of requirements and viability of application usage and functionality.
The Test Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Software System Test Engineers, both on-site and offshore that drive to deliver the highest quality product through defect prevention throughout the software development lifecycle.
Oversee multiple teams/projects simultaneously and manage both resources and tasks to ensure timely and effective project completion according to the project plan
Establish baselines and provide weekly status reports to include completed, failed and rescheduled tests.
Ability to work after hours.
2 plus years in Managing/Supervising QA teams including hiring, performance evaluation, coaching, and mentoring required: managed Test teams both onsite and offshore
Experience in Unit, Integration, Functional, End-to-end, Regression, Acceptance, Performance, Exploratory and Smoke Testing to include automation of testing where possible
Experience in testing emergency application defects in production systems, system patches, maintenance releases, enhancement releases, and implementations of new applications required.
Experience with testing database driven web applications required.
