Tiffany & Co. is currently seeking an IT Project Manager. This position will be responsible for the management of select projects within Information Technology (IT), through the application of IT PMO tools and techniques.
The Project Manager manages resources, scope, and time throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager guides the project team from business needs and project objectives to identify and refine requirements, and ultimately through the development and maintenance of the project management plan. The ideal candidate must have significant project and analyst experience across multiple business functions, along with excellent organizational and communication skills.
It will be necessary to build and maintain multiple relationships between the business organization and within the IT organization in order to understand the customer needs, identify requirements, and execute successfully. This position is based in Parsippany, NJ.
The IT Project Manager will manage the daily execution of activities across selected project tracks/work streams (e.g., estimation, scoping, build, deployment, budget, staffing, vendor management), including integrating business and IT work efforts, as well as integrating Tiffany & Co. associates and 3rd party service provider work efforts. The Project Manager will develop and maintain core deliverables while leading project execution for select cross functional initiatives.
This position will apply project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques in supporting project managers to drive the development and application of project management methodology. They will act as a point of escalation to address projects with variances from scope, customer satisfaction issues and other issues including concerns across business functions. Vital to this position is a robust knowledge and experience implementing various Project Management methodologies such as traditional methods, Agile and Dev Ops principles, and the integration of ancillary processes for example Change and Release Management.
The IT Project Manager will ensure that project, quality, and risk plans are prepared and maintained for projects while monitoring team performance against plans. This position will be responsible for effective financial and project progress forecasting, and reports as appropriate which includes tracking project issues, performance, and progress for reporting to the PMO Director.
Additionally, this role will manage change and promote the continuous improvement of project management related processes through improved/enhanced methodologies. This role will collaborate with PMO leadership to enhance the SDLC methodology and templates for project execution while partnering with Release Management to determine staging and production release windows and use of shared / integrated environment.
