What you'll be doing:

ThePosition of IT

  • PMO Project Manageris a project role within the IT PMO Delivery Team. This position is critical to the success ofthe IT PMO Delivery Team, and has a solid career path into senior projectleadership roles within the IT PMO. Thisposition manages the initiation, planning, execution (including managing andcontrolling), and closing of small to large projects within the IT PMO ManagedProject Portfolio, following the defined IT PMO Project DeliveryLifecycle.

  • Facilitates thecapturing and prioritization of project requirements

  • Leads, plans,schedules, tracks, and manages project deliverables, goals, and milestones;adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet changing needs and requirements

o Assessesrisks and creates strategies for risk mitigation and project contingency planning

o Designsand maintains project documentation

o Identifiesand resolves project issues; ensures appropriate communication to projectstakeholders

o Createsand executes project work plans and revises as appropriate

  • Manages project scopeand the change control process as appropriate

  • Develops project plansand team assignments

o Directsand monitors daily work of teams including progress toward goals

o Identifiesresource needs and secures as needed

o Providesday-to-day direction and oversight over project engineering teams

  • Analyzes OrganizationalChange Management (OCM) hurdles and devises/executes plans to overcomeresistance and foster adoption of project deliverables

  • Monitors, reviews,and/or appropriately escalates functional, quality, and timeline issues

  • Develops and executesprocurement management plan in association with Procurement and the vendormanagement plan

  • Ensures project plansand all project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored

  • Delivers engaging,informative, well-organized presentations

  • Assists customersremotely over the phone using remote control software or in person

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:

o Holds/attendsteam meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed

o Knows, understands, andfollows teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or companyprocedures

What you'll bring to us:

  • 3 years of Project Management Experience

  • Minimum of four (4) years' experience managing IT projects / programs

  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions required

  • Demonstrated experience in resource management and change management techniques preferred

  • Project Management Institute

  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMI-PMP) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a project management position, using standard SDLC/PDLC practices

  • Demonstrated ability to transfer skills and knowledge to a high performing team

  • Ability to integrate and align strategy across functions, processes and teams

  • Proven ability to implement improved business processes working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with tangible results

Whatskills you'll need:

  • Implementation, technical design, and process improvement project experience

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and enterprise relationship building experience

  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize personal tasks and activities and those of project team members as necessary

  • Demonstrated strengths in organization, reasoning, critical thinking,and problem-solving skills along with attention to detail

  • Expert computer skills andproficiency in MS Project required; proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,SharePoint and Outlook required

Develops and implements cost control measures and level of service standards to ensure compliance with customer specifications / contract requirements for assigned building. Oversees inspections, quality control measures, and the inventory control of equipment and supplies for the assigned building. Position Responsibilities Coordinate service activities for assigned building. Ensure that services are performed as contracted and at the intended profit margins. Control supplies, equipment, and personnel necessary to meet customer specifications. Interact with customers daily to obtain feedback on services and special needs. Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns. Manage the company's quality control monitoring and safety programs at the assigned buildings. Conduct quality of service inspections at assigned buildings. Attend ABM training workshops when scheduled. Develop operational improvement plans and implements process changes within assigned buildings. Attempt to increase revenue by ensuring the Supervisors are looking for ways to provide additional or periodic services to the customers. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and all federal, state, and local government regulations. Ensure that all paperwork, including terminations, labor variance action plans, and operational model is complete and accurate and is submitted to the district/hub in a timely manner. Analyze and manage, in a proactive manner, both the financial and the operational performance of the assigned buildings. Ensure that payroll is accurate and submitted to the appropriate payroll personnel in a timely manner and, when applicable, correct any payroll discrepancies. Work with District Manager to develop an action plan for all invoices that are outside of the contractual parameters. Manages and provides leadership to Supervisors, and Lead personnel assigned to the buildings. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of personnel within the assigned building. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems, and terminating employees. Performs other duties as assigned or requested. Minimum Requirements Knowledge, Skills Abilities Associates degree is preferred but not required. A minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a service/customer oriented environment. Experience in cost estimating/pricing work. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedures. Must be able to write reports and business correspondence and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers. Good communication skills both written and verbal.
