Position Summary: The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of IT projects within specified timeframes and budgets. This role requires strong leadership skills to effectively manage project teams, coordinate with senior management, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management.

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability.

  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.

  • Assign tasks and responsibilities, monitor progress, and provide guidance and support.

  • Foster a positive team environment and encourage continuous improvement.

  • Communicate project status, updates, and risks to all relevant parties.

  • Facilitate meetings, presentations, and reports to ensure transparency and alignment.

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.

  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure project adherence to defined processes and methodologies.

  • Implement corrective actions as needed to address any deviations.

  • Stay updated on the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices.

  • Apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems and support project goals.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure technical feasibility and optimal solutions.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree and/or PMP certification is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.

  • Experience leading complex IT infrastructure and packaged application software implementation projects.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
