Presidio is currently seeking a Project Manager (PM) to join our corporate IT team! We are looking for a professional to sit in the Fulton, MD area (ideally) or Plymouth Meeting, PA area. This person will work from home the majority of the time and will be responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering projects that provide exceptional business value to users. You will also be responsible for managing high visibility projects in a fast-paced environment and will work with all Presidio business units to deliver IT services. This service framework follows an ITIL methodology and services are expected to meet the needs of the business in terms of usage and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

The PM will be responsible for various projects related to information technology and will directly report to the Director of Service Delivery to perform the following tasks:

  • Identify and document business requirements as it relates to a project from various business stakeholders

  • Build WBS and project schedule Should be able to build a strawman based on collecting information and research as well as working with the project team

  • Manage and facilitate project schedule

  • Perform Risk management and mitigation

  • Work with product vendors and Presidio partners as needed to negotiate terms, discounts, and support

  • Track project costs

  • Work with IT operations on support plan

  • Develop training and rollout to users

  • Other project tasks to be defined as the project work breakdown structure matures

  • Develop process documentation in the form of diagrams and written procedures

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.

  • 5+ years project management experience working in IT or related IT area

  • Ability to multitask with multiple projects running concurrently

  • Ability to translate business needs into specific requirements

  • PMP highly preferred, but not required

  • ITIL knowledge highly preferred

  • Good verbal and written skills

  • Good research skills

  • GREAT organizational skills

  • Ability to identify creative approaches and solutions to business problems
