Job Description:

As a member of our Project Execution team within the Merchant Services Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You'll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You'll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what's being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you'll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Advanced knowledge of agile principles, managing multiple scrum teams as agile IT Project Manager.

  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems A

  • bility to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals

  • Experience managing projects through the entire Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) using standard project processes and tools (Agile)

  • Identify and help implement continuous process enhancements/improvements as well identify opportunities to automate or streamline current processes, focus on driving efficiency and improvements in controls.

  • Partner with Technology and Product Owners to define approach for build phase and/or scripts; maintain master plan and dates for the build phase from start of build to completion

  • Partner with the Business to identify operational risks and ensure overall operational readiness prior to launch; develop operational readiness playbook and facilitate Go/No Go meetings upon completing of testing

  • Manage project communications & status reporting (e.g. project performance metrics/KPIs).

  • Develop slides / decks for senior management team to articulate project status and issues

  • Proactively identify obstacles and collaborate with team to identify several options/solutions and collect and store all required compliance artifacts for the project across the project life cycle.

  • PMP certification is Preferred

margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Primary responsibility for managing all aspects of assigned projects.  This involves creating a plan that is used to monitor and control project progress, and it forms the basis of communication with top management about the projects continued status.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Ensures budgets, schedules and technical performance requirements are met.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Responsible for leading more than one Project Team and achieving all aspects of the agreed upon quality/performance, schedule and cost goals of assigned projects.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Prepare and gain approval of detailed multi-functional project plans that achieves timing goals with the appropriate level of risk management.</li> <li style="padding: 0;
