This Project Manager position will serve as a part-time scrum master. IAI is looking for a candidate that will support two very fast paced project teams that are responsible for the design, build and maintenance of two very visible enterprise access control technologies. The Scrum master will be responsible for:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop schedules and reporting key activities for each project

Ensure tasks are completed by agreed upon deadlines

Ensure security accreditations are addressed for each of the systems

Ensure customer requirements are addressed in a timely manner

Represent the client at both stakeholder and the respective governance boards.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree

Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction in tasks including developing project schedules.

Demonstrated experience in gathering customer requirements and holding technical exchange meetings including disseminating and tracking meeting notes with action items.

Demonstrated experience coordinating, supporting and participating in program meetings and reviews.

Demonstrated experience generating program/project metrics.

Demonstrated experience with Agile and Traditional Development methodologies.

Demonstrated experience providing status reporting on all activities.

Demonstrated experience in maintaining integrated master schedules for products and services.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrated experience with Primavera

Demonstrated experience developing IT roadmaps.

Demonstrated experience with the complete engineering project development life-cycle from inception project planning to deployment.

Security Requirements:
Must currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph

VIEW JOBS 11/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-11T00:00 As a Technical Project Manager (TPM), you will be part of the Akamai Professional Services team and work directly with our clients to deliver Akamai solutions. You will work independently and at times as part of small technical teams, leading the technical integration of customers' web sites with the Akamai network. You will own the technical implementation from project commencement to customer sign-off and may also be involved early in the pre-sales cycle to help craft and scope the solution. TPMs often partner with a cross-functional set of Akamai teams, including Account Management, Sales, Engineering, Product Development, Finance, Legal, and Customer Care to meet deadlines, resolve issues, and exceed customer expectations at every opportunity. TPMs identify new product features and additional sales opportunities while working with the customer and communicate those to the appropriate cross-functional teams. In addition, TPMs will participate in internal projects that help scale the group, implement best practices, and improve our methodology and quality of integrations. You will become an Akamai, and Internet technologies, technical expert. Responsibilities * Involvement in full customer Akamai life-cycle, from pre-sales, through implementation to post-implementation support. * Interact with sales team and the customer during the pre-sales cycle to provide implementation scope and estimates, create proposals and Statements of Work, and conduct trials. * Own customer implementation projects, including providing full project management, creation and maintenance of implementation documentation and tracking timelines and deliverables. * Perform technical implementation tasks, such as customer configuration updates. * Provide technical ownership of long-term customer relationships. * Work closely with Engagement Managers, Solutions Engineering, Sales, Engineering, Product Development and Customer Care to resolve issues that arise during customer trials or integrations. * Identify new product features and additional sales opportunities during trials and integrations and communicate to product development and engineering teams. * Participate in internal projects that help scale the group, implement best practices, and improve methodology. * Occasional travel up to 10%. Required Education and Experience Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements: * 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Engineering, EE, MIS or its equivalent or * Relevant Professional Experience Required Skills * Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing environment in the IT industry * Minimum 2 years of project management experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects for Fortune 500 customers; experience working on and managing enterprise scale projects * Minimum 2 years experience in one or more web development languages, methodologies, architectures or Internet technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS. * US Citizen Desired Skills * Project Management skills (PMP or Big 5 experience a plus). * Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. * Experience in one or more web development languages, methodologies, and/or architectures - J2EE, HTTP, DNS, .NET, C#, JSP, ASP, Tomcat, Apache. * Working knowledge of the full software development technologies including J2EE/Java, .NET, open source tools and various component models (CORBA, COM, Java Beans). * Enthusiastic, action oriented, capable of independently solving complex technical problems and able to communicate clearly and effectively to both technical and business audiences. * Possess a good understanding of consulting best practices, and common web and application architectures.
