You are:

A Project Manager who enjoys client facing and leading multiple projects in a matrixed organization. In addition you will drive process and deliver solutions that help the business meet their objectives. You are an innovator who can help Sales and Marketing identify initiatives with the most potential benefit, define and shape the requirements, and find technical solutions at an appropriate cost that align with operational objectives.

This position will sit fulltime in Shelton, CT.

You will

  • Perform all aspects of project delivery from scoping to deployment, as well as oversee the documentation, status updates, and overall communications.

  • Act as an IT representative across the Sales and Product functions in multiple geographies.

  • Understand the Pitney Bowes business and IT processes, always looking for ways to simplify and improve.

  • Support long term operational goals to maximize productivity, reduce complexity, and maintain data quality standards.

  • Build relationships within the business functions, with other IT teams, and with vendors in order to most. effectively identify the right solution and deliver it most effectively.

  • Maintain technical relevance to best serve business partners in advising on technology decisions.

Your background:

As an I.T. Project Manager, Integrations you have:

  • 3 years demonstrated project leadership with direct responsibility for managing project teams, budget, schedule, and communications.

  • 3 years' experience leading systems integration projects, involving Salesforce.com or IBM Sterling CPQ or SAP.

  • Strong business process, analytical & problem solving skills.

  • Excellent written and communication skills.

  • Strong organization skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field preferred.

Preferred

  • Experience working in matrixed, global IT organization.
  • PMP certification and/or experience with agile methodology.

VIEW JOBS 3/8/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-06T00:00 Job Description Job Description : The Global Military Systems & Services (GMSS) Project Manager (PM) incumbent will report to the Vice President, GMSS, and act as the principal liaison between the GMSS Vice President, his leadership team, and other internal/external customers. As a key member of the leadership team, the PM will lead a variety of projects and assist the GMSS Vice President in meeting any of the business obligations of the GMSS P&L. The PM will be accountable for acting independently and for coordinating the efforts and drawing on the resources of staff and management personnel to carry out assignments and expedite matters requiring attention. Activities include leadership of special projects, participating on GMSS and Sikorsky work teams, and providing recommendations, preparing reports and presentations. The preferred candidate will perform as an Executive Assistant in preparation for key presentations such as: Internal Program Reviews and other key external customer reviews. The PM will act as the primary POC between GMSS and Strategy/Business Development and will obtain an overall view of strategy development, decision-making, and program execution as a means of developing skills and knowledge for future job assignments. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Acting as the Vice President's representative at various meetings and functions and participating, as time permits, on special projects as directed by the GMSS Vice President. * Working with senior staff to create presentations and supporting material for use with GMSS leadership, the Sikorsky Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and other internal and external customers and partners. * Leading management communication initiatives on behalf of the Vice President, such as internal all hands meetings, employee communications, and other communications activities. * Drafting executive level talking points, speeches, emails and correspondence. * Coordinating white papers and presentations to support Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin customer and partner meetings. * Working closely with internal functional support staff to resolve issues. * Learning all key production and service and support issues and initiatives, and driving understanding across the organization. * Working closely with peers across the organizations to ensure coordination across Programs. This position requires sound decision making and problem solving skills with minimal supervisory direction as well as an ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
