Modis has an exciting opening for a Project manager in downtown Nashville. This position will be contract to possible hire. An IHI or PMP cert is preferred but not required. The person in this position will be working in the healthcare/non-profit sector providing education and solutions to providers and consumers. The position is a technical and liaison combination.

Top Qualifications:

PDSA process and quality improvement knowledge
Familiar with metrics and data analysis in a healthcare or PDSA environment
Strong since of financial aspects of the project

Technologies and Duties:

Develop project plans, timelines and status reports and communicate with all team members in and outside the organization 50%

Resolve issues and conflicts associated with management of project efforts 30%

Manage project budget, communicate deviations from budget projections, and propose solutions for budget deviations 10%

Travel as necessary to support program needs 10%

Skills:

-Management of all aspects of project

This person will be integrally involved in transit, rail, and facility projects from conception through completion and will work with all departments within WeGo Public Transit / RTA. They will assist with conceptual project planning, procurement, project management, engineering, construction management, utility coordination, and project closeout duties. They will also participate in planning studies. This person will need to perform equally well in collaborative team environment as well as under independent conditions. They must be able to manage design teams, construction contractors, and third party vendors. This person must be able to develop and adhere to detailed construction schedules for regionally significant projects. Additionally, the preferred candidate should have experience with one or more of the following disciplines: transit, facilities construction, rail, traffic, and other transportation related projects with experience ranging potentially from early planning through construction completion. Successful candidate is expected to develop and manage project scope, schedule, and costs. The preferred candidate should be familiar with Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and/or Federal Transit Administration (FTA) processes for major capital projects.
