GDC is currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager II in the Chambersburg, PA area.

The IT Project Manager will ensure projects within Product Support Operations are accomplished within budget parameters. They will also develop and monitor budgets for assigned maintenance and installation programs while managing multiple programs and program management staff.


  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of projects.

  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the project.

  • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Possess a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures related to logistics operations, including lean and value stream concepts.

  • May be a primary customer relationship owner.

  • Use PMP methodologies, as guided by corporate policy, to ensure projects are planned and executed successfully as measured by cost, performance, risk and schedules.

  • Utilize MS Project to track and complete assigned projects.

  • Own internal and external projects in their entirety or as a sub-part of a larger project.

  • Mentor Project Associates and Project Leaders.



  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management or related field required

  • PMP Certification required

  • 4 years of project management experience in an enterprise environment

  • Experience with Microsoft Project

  • Experience working in the manufacturing industry preferred

This position is a hybrid sales and communications/marketing role. The ideal candidate will have a sales and marketing background and the ability to contribute strategic ideas to grow and retain membership. Fundamental Components: (*) Achieve membership growth and retention goals for FEHBP medical and FEDVIP dental and vision plans (*) Understand the benefits and sales strategy for the Aetna federal medical, dental and vision plans and be able to clearly articulate them in writing and in presentations (*) Support communications and marketing efforts for fully insured Aetna branded plans, MHBP, Rural Carrier Benefit Plan, and Foreign Service Benefit Plan including writing newsletters, developing print materials, creating emails, etc. (*) Work effectively with clients and external vendors (*) Educate Federal health benefit officers and Federal employees on Aetnas plans - in person, through phone consultations, and on web based presentations (*) Attend meetings and events at federal agencies and military bases such as health fairs, new hire orientations, lunch and learns, wellness fairs, retirement seminars and conventions (*) Collaborate with other areas like account management, operations, and legal/compliance on various projects (*) Support annual federal government proposal process and other ad hoc projects as needed (*) Demonstrate a willingness to accept change and adjust well to new situations while demonstrating initiative and innovation to achieve results.
