We are hiring for an IT Project Manager. This is a temporary engagement, projected to last 15-18 months, helping to oversee our implementation of an SAP ERP system. The person hired for this role will manage the SAP (ECC6) ERP enterprise implementation project including migration, integrations, training, and validation. This project encompasses Fujifilm Irvine Scientific headquarters in California, and remote locations in Ireland, Japan, and the Netherlands.

Ensure SAP ERP system implementation project success from initiation through delivery by providing exceptional project management, including:

  • Manage action items identify, prioritize, assign, monitor, and control action items throughout all phases of the project

  • Manage budget update actual project costs, compare them against the project's planned budget, and define action items to manage significant variances

  • Manage change requests identify and manage change requests; evaluate and report on change requests with significant impact on project scope; facilitate approved change control decisions

  • Manage decisions manage day-to-day decisions; evaluate and report on decisions with significant impact on project outcomes

  • Manage issues identify, prioritize, assign, monitor, and close issues through all project phases

  • Manage project staff identify, report, and resolve project resource constraints; schedule and coordinate team meetings and activities

  • Manage project status generate metrics needed for project status, deliver project status updates and guidance to the project team, stakeholders, and sponsors

  • Manage risks avoid, mitigate, or minimize negative impacts to the project if realized

  • Manage work plan track progress and manage adjustments

Experience/ Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited institution

  • Professional training and certification in project management preferred, such as PMP or Six Sigma

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably leading software implementations of ERP or IT Business Applications

  • SAP ECC6 or other ERP system implementation experience

  • Strong leadership, motivational, and project delivery skills

  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Experience in a multi-site, multinational manufacturing environment

  • Experience in life science, biopharma, medical devices, or related industry is preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, email, calendar / scheduling, and productivity software. Expertise with project management software tools, such as MS Project, Visio
