IT Project Manager, Financial Systems

Summary

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in finance technology to oversee and manage various IT finance projects. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing financial project expertise, managing project budgets, timelines, and resources, and leading project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee financial IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery within budget, scope, and timeline.

• Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

• Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure project success.

• Actively monitor and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Ensure project governance and compliance with organizational standards and policies.

• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including status reports, risk assessments, and project dashboards.

• Coach and mentor team members on Agile project management methodologies and processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

• Strong experience in IT Finance project management.

• Strong financial acumen and experience with finance technology, such as Hyperion, Oracle, SAP, Anaplan, etc.

• Advanced experience with JIRA, Service Now and Project Management Tools.

• Strong Agile project management skills with the ability to coach and mentor a lesser experienced team on the fundamentals of how to make it work and adapt the process that will work best.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

• PMI or Agile certification is a plus.
