ASRC Federal Highland Technology is seeking a Project Manager (Information Technology) to join our team in Falls Church, VA where we support the Defense Health Agency on a newly awarded program.   • Assist requirements team to identify interface and system improvements

  • Assist in design and review system architecture

  • Review technical documents submitted by vendor for quality and accuracy

  • Assist in navigating governance processes

  • Provide schedule input for development and testing

  • Coordinate web service integration with external systems

  • Coordinate the establishment of test and production environment connections

  • Coordinate the creation of test data

  • Support troubleshooting initiatives

  • Creation whitepapers and presentations

  • Assist in the development and review of test strategy and plan

The HEART of this position will be coordinating and facilitating technical discussions between development teams and providing technical recommendations to government leadership on an IT program focused on Enterprise Content Management Systems (OpenText) for a Military Healthcare System called CBIS. You don't have to be a technical expert but you do need to have a proven history of project management and customer interfacing skills.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree

  • Nine (9) years of consulting or directly related industry experience (IT, Engineering, etc.)

  • Fundamental knowledge of network technologies such as TCP/IP and VPNs

  • Understanding of Enterprise Content Management Systems such as OpenText

  • Understanding of Business Process Management Systems

  • Basic programming proficiency (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Net)

  • Fundamental knowledge of operating systems

  • Understanding of Agile methodology and MVC application models

  • Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure

  • Knowledge of web servers such as IIS, WebSphere, Apache...

  • Knowledge of Databases such as SQL Server and Oracle

  • Knowledge of OpenText Content Server or OpenText AppWorks desired

  • Knowledge of web service technologies such as REST and ESB; SOAP, XML and JSON a plus

  • US Citizenship is required for the DoD Public Trust Clearance and CAC
