This position is located in Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO), Office of' Information & Technology (OI&T). The incumbent serves as an IT Project Manager responsible for performing complex and highly sensitive administrative, analytical and technical duties relative to Information Technology (IT) project management, application development, testing, evaluation functions, life cycle logistics, acquisition/contracting, financial management, and risk management.


Some of your responsibilities may include:
Lead and manage a project team to successful achievement project goals and meet PMAS defined goals.
Serve as a project management subject matter expert.
Provide leadership to project teams including coordination of all activities of contractors, vendors, and other participants in assigned projects.
Manage projects based on the approved plans to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions.
Negotiate emerging issues and changed in project requirements and advise initiative leads and competency manager when issues are beyond their scope to resolve. Work Schedule: M-F 8am

    The work is predominantly sedentary and does not require and special physical effort. The incumbent may carry light items such as mettinf materials and a portable computer and may be required ti drive a motor vehicle relative to attendance at meetings.

GS-13 grade level: One year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the federal service); experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) and other characteristics to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled, in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience includes: ; Identify issues and risks in order to enable optimal resources and services to Development Management IT Projects; Utilize project management software in order to set up project timelines and resources; And manage development and implementation of projects using project management lifecycle methodologies, Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and/or Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) methodologies.
