The incumbent will support the Judiciary Data and Analysis Office (JDAO) as an Information Technology Manager, responsible for ensuring operations are streamlined, establishing and enforcing best practices of business intelligence solutions along communicating status to JDAO business partners, senior management and internal team(s) which will require excellent communication and written skills.

Managing data integration resources and multiple projects/work streams in a high-pressure environment with aggressive delivery schedules.
Supporting, promoting and implementing best practices and standardization on data integration projects.
Ensuring data accuracy and timeliness while enforcing technical standards among project delivery teams.
Enforcing rigor and security standards when dealing with sensitive Personal Identifiable Information (PII) data.
Facilitating productive meetings with strong organization capabilities and attention to detail.
Assisting in developing strategic and resource plans as well as evaluating and making recommendations for new business intelligence tools and initiatives.
Participating in data governance activities such as cataloging data, contributing to metadata management, data lineage and data quality.
Collaborating with multiple departments and managing help desk activities for the applications.
Working closely with business and power users to advise on best practices and educate on data sources.

Failure to successfully complete the trial period may result in termination of employment. This does not apply to current federal Judiciary employees.
Relocation expenses may be provided, but only if authorized by the Director of the AO.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience as listed below. This requirement is according to the AO Classification, Compensation, and Recruitment Systems which include interpretive guidance and reference to the OPM Operating Manual for Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions.

You must have Information Technology (IT) related experience which demonstrates proficiency in each of the

Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of this position. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience managing data warehousing concepts, database design, ETL development, reporting tools, and scripting languages
