Position is responsible for assisting the Information Technology Manager of the Indianapolis Fire Department with various projects and the maintenance of electronic assets.
Monitors projects. Oversees administrative details such as project implementation, status reports, etc. as directed.
Provides administrative assistance as requested by IT Manager. Performs maintenance of records and plans as needed. Prepares reports as required.
Provides service to electronic assets utilized by the Department. This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.
Two (2) years of directly related work experience. Must have a valid Indiana driver's license.
Effective communications both written and oral from is required. High school education or equivalent Knowledge of IFD's computer operations and mobile data devices is preferred.
Independent judgment is regularly utilized when there are no available policies and procedures and errors in judgment may cause inconsistencies and inconveniences as well as regulatory and budgetary problems.
