The IS System Development Services Senior position programs and develops IT systems utilized in the administration and management of all federal and state programs administered by the Wisconsin Technical College System Office (WTCS). Major responsibilities include designing, developing and maintaining complex, integrated WTCS data systems using Java and SQL; assisting other development staff in the design and development of data systems including developing and deploying changes to the systems. This position also performs analysis of the resulting data to evaluate operations and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. This position works under the general supervision of the Associate Vice President of the Office of Information Technology.

Qualified applicants will have:
Training and/or experience with Java web application development.
Training and/or experience with relational database concepts including querying and managing data.
Well qualified applicants will have:
Training and/or experience with the Software Development Life Cycle methodology.
Training and/or experience with the Test-Driven Development process.
Training and/or experience with SQL Reporting Services.
Training and/or experience handling FERPA protected information.
Training and/or experience with Tableau.
