ResponsibilitiesThe Position

The IT Program Manager, Investment Services will be responsible for IT strategy and implementation in support of Arch Investment Management (AIM) including the program strategy, product roadmap development, and market delivery/operation of the product offerings. A successful candidate would be an experienced dynamic, multidimensional digital professional who is strategic, technologically savvy, and skilled in both program strategy and operational efficiencies. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand the strategic direction of AIM and manage the technology applications and data integrations to enhance the operation of the business

  • Function as IT program manager and business analyst

  • Active in the designing, planning, system selection, development and configuration, implementation, testing, and support of IT programs

  • Prioritize, manage, and communicate plans for system capabilities and deployment

  • Support programs through all phases of the SDLC

  • Develop product road maps to match short-term and long-term business goals with specific technology solutions

  • Communicate the status of projects and deliverables to individuals involved

  • Understand the business case for proposed products and initiatives in assigned business segments, including cost/benefit estimates, market trends, competitive and risk analysis, industry best practices and product development timelines

  • Foster close relationships with key market constituents to validate program strategy and road maps

  • Collaborate with business and technology team members to ensure alignment of business goals and technology needs

  • Lead projects from start to finish and ensure proper support is in place upon delivery of new technology solutions

  • Prepare project plans, budgets and recurring status updates across all Arch Investment related IT initiatives

  • May manage other teams/consultants as necessary

Qualifications

Desired Skills

  • Prior experience with the suite of Blackrock Aladdin tools, Bloomberg and Clearwater is preferred

  • Ability to communicate business and technical information to employees at all levels of the organization and to outside vendors and ability to translate business needs into efficient technology solutions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Investment management experience is required with 5+ years in the industry

  • Direct experience with Risk, Performance Attribution, Accounting, Data Warehousing, Workflow and Reconciliation systems for Investment teams and asset manager is ideal

  • Extensive experience with project management and/or implementation of system requirements based on changes in workflow or changes in business requirements
