IT Professional 2 - Application Development

The Position

Information Technology (IT) Professionals analyze, develop, implement, maintain, and modify computer operations, systems, networks, databases, applications, and/or information security. Incumbents may perform duties in one or more IT specialization areas depending on the needs of the agency.

Incumbents perform journey level duties and may serve as a lead worker to lower level IT staff as assigned. This is a supervisory level for the Computer Operations function.

This position is within the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services but will be on a special assignment to the Governor's Finance Office with the Office of Project Management. The incumbent will be part of the CORE.NV ERP implementation project team for the duration of the project.

Primary responsibilities for this position include assisting with data cleansing, validation, and migration between legacy systems and the CORE.NV ERP system. Additionally, this position will cross-train and provide support for human resources and fiscal teams on the CORE.NV Project, to include: Security, Configuration, Reporting, System Interfaces or Integrations, and Quality Assurance/Testing.

Incumbent may serve as a member of Technical Governance team to help ensure that any changes to any aspect of the ERP solution result in a stable, functional, and fully compliant environment for all agencies and users.
