Position Summary
Working in a team environment, the IT Product Specialist, Senior
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory and will be agreed upon by the successful candidate and hiring leader. The role will work in the assigned office 1-2 times a month.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $114,000
Bay Area Maximum: $182,000
CA Minimum: $108,000
CA Maximum: $173,000
Job Responsibilities:
License Compliance and Data Integrity in FlexNet Management Suite (includes regular software audits, crack audits, Flexera FlexNet data validation and Management)
Cross team collaboration with various functional area to work on software renewals.
Maintain IT Software Asset management Power BI Dashboards
Identify savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing, and services
Communicate through email, individual interview, group meetings, and presentations to end users, management, developers, and vendors.
Respond to requests from end users, managers, developers, and team members for specific IT Software Asset Management data information.
Develops technical competence in specific product(s) or service(s). Perform autonomously with consulting a more senior Product Specialist on increasing complex or sensitive products or services.

Create documentation of operational concepts, workflows, etc.
Internal and external workshop leadership
External technical and project coordination with customers and SAM tool vendors
Work closely with IT professionals to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
In the absence of a third-tier support specialist, perform the role of third-tier support to other IT professionals.

CSAM Certified
SAP Ariba
Microsoft suite of products including Power BI
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
Minimum of 1 years working experience in Software Asset Management (SAM)
