Boeing is seeking a IT Process and Compliance Analyst who is passionate about analytics and using data to improve quality, reduce errors and design new business processes. The person in this role will sit on the Boeing Stores' IT team and report to the Manager of Supply Chain Operations & IT.

The successful candidate self-identifies as an entrepreneurial "builder" who thrives on developing structure and lean processes in an ambiguous environment. They are highly analytical and proficient at managing multiple milestones and shifting requirements in a fluid, fast-moving environment, while proactively keeping stakeholders updated on progress. Additionally, they have a history of proven success supporting retail users with hardware and software issues. Lastly, they are customer-obsessed and understand that their work product will impact the experience of our customers and employees to resolve and create efficiency's.

  • This position requires schedule flexibility; evening and weekend work will be required periodically due to rotating on-call responsibilities.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

  • Manage databases, program SQL queries, and provide analytics' reports to stakeholders.

  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

  • Manage, as the administrator, IT Issues' Tracker, SharePoint, and shared network access.

  • Process assessment and report creation.

  • Document all major processes and work streams.

  • Resolve IT issues reported by physical retail store managers and sales associates.

Typical Education/Experience:

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status

  • More than 1 year of Information Technology experience.

  • More than 1 year of experience programming in HTML, Visual Basic; experience with SAP Crystal Reports.

  • More than 1 year of experience supporting computing related hardware and/or software investigations.

  • Experience with SQL.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and instructions to non-technical individuals with ease and confidence.

Desired Experience, Skills and

  • Retail experience

  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to solve problems and think analytically.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities & deliverables in a fast-paced, dead-line oriented environment.

  • Strong investigative and research skills.

  • Strong knowledge of point-of-sale hardware.

  • Experience programming in JavaScript, Java, Python, and/or C++

  • Experience working with BI reporting tools, including Tableau

  • Project Management Professional Certification

  • Six Sigma Certification and/or Certified Kaizen Facilitator

As a member of this team, you will harness your strong data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) skills to create data models, understand business requirements, create performance metrics, conduct data analysis, provide insights, recommend actions, create self-service dashboards with simple visualization to help the private pricing leaders and users achieve goals and manage process efficiency and effectiveness of the deal cycle. The Private Pricing deal team is instrumental in driving deal strategy, structuring, negotiations, and of private deals. Private Pricing deals consist of large, strategic, , or highly competitive commercial deals. The responsibilities will be to measure, report, and track deal metrics, analyze and report the deal pipeline with active and closed deals, conduct revenue & commit analysis, conduct sensitivity and what-if analysis, forecast committed and usage revenue, and provide business reporting. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across other geographies. Successful members of this team collaborate effectively to solve data problems, implement new reporting solutions, and deliver successfully against high operational standards. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual that seeks to "tell the story" of the data with little direction or supervision.
