NTT DATA Services currently seeks a IT Principal Business Analyst to join our team in Arlington, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).
The IT Principal Consultant's work will include but is not limited to the following activities:
o Project Feasibility
o Project Compliance (standards, methods, artifacts)
o Performance Metrics
o Organizational Development
o Organization / Project surveys (as-is analysis, requirement fit analysis, satisfaction assessment)
o Gap analysis / trend analysis
o Determine operational objectives of business requirements
o Evaluate existing or interfacing systems and provide analysis and recommendations on whether interfaces should be continued or functionally subsumed
o Identify modifications and improvements to enhance efficiencies and performance of existing system features
o Identify core business needs and decompose and document in concepts of operation, briefings and user stories
o Document business rules and construct use cases and workflow diagrams as needed
o Pitch Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and user stories to team members
o Facilitate meetings between stakeholders, developers and product owners
o Develop and maintain an Action Log for projects
o Technical Liaison Support (e.g., Agile practices, CONOPS, C&A)
o Functional Analysis
o Project Risk Management
o Project Briefings
o Software Development Life-cycle (SDLC), Agile Methodology, PMBOK, ITIL
o IT Strategic Planning
o IT Business Roadmap
o IT Consolidation strategy
o Performance Measurement Planning, Data Collection, and Reporting
o Portfolio Program Planning
o IT Project Portfolio (Project Backlog)
o Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
o MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
o SharePoint User
o Workflow diagram development, review
o Charts/table development
o Support Performance Measurement Planning
o Metrics and Reporting
o Participate in project planning and schedule development/maintenance activities
o Provide Weekly and Monthly Status Report inputs
Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology)
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant IT Portfolio Management experience.
Minimum 5 years analyzing management, business and technical issues related to program management and information systems
Minimum 5 years of Requirements Gathering experience
Minimum 5 years providing guidance to the business implications of various systems
Minimum 5 years collaborating on feasibility studies and systems planning
Minimum 5 years assisting in formulating systems scope and objectives
Minimum 5 years devising and/or modifying procedures for managing complex programs
Must have a minimum of Secret Clearance
