JOB TITLE: IT Operations System Administrator - CONTRACT
DEPARTMENT: Information Systems
Analyze user computing requirements to implement hardware and software solutions and provide on-going lifecycle maintenance. Design, create, document and implement automation solutions using enterprise class automation systems (e.g. SCCM, AV, VSphere, Citrix) to meet user requirements, security standards and best practices. Diagnose and independently resolve on-site or remote user computing systems incidents and underlying problems including high complexity, multi-location impacting incident management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Advanced knowledge of end user computing environments a must
Excellent technical knowledge of PC desktop hardware and software including MS Windows XP, Windows 7, MS Office suites and related products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, Project, etc), web browsers, and utility applications such as anti-virus, file management, desktop deployment, backup software and mobile devices
Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards
Strong systems analysis abilities including working directly with users
High quality incident and problem diagnosis and resolution skills
Strong customer service skills
General office environment
SittIng for extended periods of time
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components
Lifting and transporting of heavy to moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals
Some after-hours work required
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer information systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Certifications in A , Network , MCDST, MS preferred.
