Job title: IT Operations Analyst

Contract location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Contract assignment through March 2019 initially

A Clinical Research Organization, with offices located in Indianapolis, Indiana is presently looking for a someone who can work on the migrations.

Candidate will be responsible for the following:

Execute the migration of software through the release lifecycle for Software Enabled Process Automation software (Blue Prism) in accordance with all applicable SOPs, team processes and management guidelines.

Support code migration and change control activities for organizations applications

Develop and maintain technical documentation in support of code migrations and change controls.

Provide weekend and off-hour support for release management activities.

Identify, plan and implement process improvements to reduce cost, increase productivity and quality.


Two or more years of experience with .net related IT project development

Two or more years of experience in IT Development or Systems Administration

An understanding of ITIL concepts

An understanding of the project management lifecycle

Ability to act as an assistant Release Manager and drive code migration changes to production

Basic coding and support experience preferred.

Ability to enhance/develop new processes/standards

Ability to multi task and prioritize their own work and assignments based on business need

Able to work independently and in small to medium size teams

Ability to synchronize teams in preparation/during a change.

Ability to communicate effectively with multiple areas in IT.

VIEW JOBS 11/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-11T00:00 Description PURPOSE: An Operations Analyst's main responsibility is to ensure service, availability and productivity of the driver while also balancing driver miles, home time, and performance. The Operations Analyst engages in problem solving behavior to maximize utilization and drive performance metrics with customers. The Operations Analyst is expected to perform tracking of customer specific and commodity specific loads within their fleet, ensuring service and timely communication to the customer. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manage drivers to ensure service, availability and productivity while balancing driver miles, home time, and performance * Monitoring the fleet to assist in providing on time service to the customers * Tracking specific load types such as high value (computers, electronics, tobacco products, etc) to watch for security issues * Trouble shooting problems for drivers (directions to customer locations, pick up/delivery numbers, helping with Canadian paperwork, etc) * Assisting with payroll issues (authorizing trip expenses, setting up vacation pay, processing forms to correct payroll problems, etc) * Managing a driver's miles (and ultimately his/her paycheck) by making sure the driver's time is used efficiently and knowing the difference between a good load and a load that needs improvement * Approving and managing a driver's home time requests and keeping the driver in a position to arrive home on time * Continued focus on driver retention * Processing Human Resource forms such as leave of absence or termination of employment * Monitor driver's Hours of Service (logging) for DOT compliance * Utilize management tools to effectively track equipment throughout the system. * Read and respond to driver messages. Verify all information when communicating with a driver. * Build rapport with drivers, customer service and planning through honesty and communication. * Consistently review Driver performance and take disciplinary action if necessary. * Understand telephone functions and answer calls in a courteous and timely manner. * Other duties as assigned.
