IT MSP Level 3 Senior Systems Engineer

We are looking for an experienced IT MSP Tier 3 Senior Systems Engineer who is a problem-solver, who can effectively design the right solution to meet a wide range of client needs, both physically and in the cloud. The ideal candidate will be curious, tenacious, and able to produce the desired result in an urgent manner. This role requires an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while in different situations and enjoy the challenge of multiple client interactions throughout the day, bringing each one to a successful resolution.

In this position, you will be involved in the design, deployment, and support of business networks, servers, computers, and users. Responsibilities:

• Design and quote client solutions that may include hardware, software, and/or cloud components

• Ownership of project deployments from start to finish

• Create and maintain clear and precise documentation for ongoing support

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve client issues and escalations

• Ensure accurate tracking, thorough documentation of tasks, and recording of billable hours, in real-time within the ticketing system.

• Supporting and collaborating with the team to address and resolve L1 to L3 tickets effectively

• Regular updates in a clear and professional manner to clients

Required Skills:

• At least 4 years experience in business IT across various platforms and systems (preferably with an MSP).

• Expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud migrations, setup, and support.

• Expertise with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration.

• Expertise in designing, quoting, and installing efficient IT Solutions (including Network, Server, Workstations, Cloud, etc.)

• Networking, firewall, access point and managed switch configuration.

• Backup and disaster recovery configuration and administration.

• Windows and macOS Troubleshooting, Administration & Support.

• Virus and malware prevention and remediation.

• Experience working in HIPAA and high-compliance environments.

Desired Skills:

• Recent experience working for an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP).

• Experience in AutoTask PSA, ConnectWise or similar MSP and RMM platforms.
