Responsibilities
Overview
The IT Manager will aid the IT Data and Analytics organization in defining various reporting metrics, collecting and tracking them and derive insights for the department. This team member ensures data quality, integrity, and accuracy of reporting while supporting reporting, dashboard creation, analysis and data gathering across their department.
This team member will work closely with their leadership team to define appropriate IT metrics, and will have a high level of understanding of how to produce accurate and meaningful metrics to deliver high quality, actionable, efficient, and interactive reporting to drive business and technology decisions.
The ideal candidate will also be responsible for working with Office of CIO and represents IT Data and Analytics organization in coordinating activities, deliverables, conducting outreach, and representing our organization in several IT initiatives. We have several internal reporting responsibilities to report on for the IT Digital Transformation and deliver to CIO vision. This role requires a unique blend of scientific understanding, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
This is a high-impact role that requires a detail-oriented, data-driven and process-focused mindset, with a work ethic equipped to tackle demanding, highly cross-functional tasks. You will also act as the partner relationship liaison for the Office of CIO to maintain open line of communication, escalation channel, and interdepartmental initiatives to ensure productive and successful business outcomes.
What Makes you an ideal candidate?
Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate alternatives, assess risks, and make informed choices that align with IT Data & Analytics organizational metrics and reporting.
Experience in effectively managing relationships and keeping information moving freely across all levels of the organization.
Provide guidance to the team in defining and development of metrics, dashboards, front-end reporting capability for executive reporting that provides metric trending and analysis summarized for executive-level consumption.
Analyze metrics data to derive insights, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to guide critical decisions.
Oversee adherence to standards in Metrics and reporting for the IT Executive Monthly Business review.
A demonstrated proficiency in computer/system/data skills to manage presentations, analysis, and data insights.
Manage and lead complex coordination and assignments with a high degree of autonomy, confidentiality, and accountability for results.
Continually refine, enhance, and automate processes and reports utilizing BI/Dashboarding tools such as PowerBI, Cognos, SharePoint, MS Teams, and ServiceNow.
Interact closely with the finance resources to oversee the financial aspects of initiatives, including budgeting, cost tracking, and expenditure optimization.
Implement Agile methodologies across initiatives, fostering adaptive, iterative, and value-driven development.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and facilitate continuous improvement within the IT organization.
Acts as a trusted advisor to internal customers and the Metrics team in order to drive business value
Understanding of SQL and data wrangling concepts
Knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure and operations
Working knowledge of ITIL practices
Highly skilled in data analytics and data visualization
Advanced computer skills, including but not limited to SQL, MS Excel Power BI, ServiceNow, Cognos, SharePoint, VBA, MS Power Point and MS Access
Working knowledge of information systems and operations systems for supported business groups
