The IT Manager will be responsible for researching and planning for implementation of the most recent technologies in the industry, staff supervision, developing and implementing a long term strategic plan for the organization. Other responsibilities include budget planning, including: identifying needs for new hardware and software as required, capital budget planning, operational expense planning. IT Manager tasks include administering the LAN and Wi-Fi network security, system hardware, operating systems, software, telecommunication, surveillance, A/V and building access control equipment and procedures that adhere to the firm's values and goals. This includes maintaining, supporting, troubleshooting and repairing company desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones, and network infrastructure.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of four years proven experience as a System Manager, Network/Security Manager or similar role

  • Knowledge of HIPPA and compliance regulations.

  • Experience with Cisco networks (LANs, WLANs, WANs), switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs

  • Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery

  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms including Microsoft 365, Windows 10-11

  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude

  • Excellent communication skills

  • The ability to prioritize, be attentive to details, maintain confidentiality, and provide exceptional client service is required. Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and computer skills required.

  • A sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects. Attention to detail along with a commitment to quality and confidentiality

  • Associate degree in Computer Technology or related field, or job experience equivalency. Certifications such as MSCA, A+, Network+, and CCNA preferred.

General Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to system hardware, software and security.

  • Serve as member of the Compliance Committee to support compliance with all regulatory bodies.

  • Supervise Information Technology staff and vendors in the performance of Information Technology tasks and services.

  • Provide leadership in planning process for annual budgets, upgrades and other changes related to the IT systems, in collaboration with Leadership Team.

  • Manage network servers and technology tools

  • Set up window's active directory accounts and workstations

  • Troubleshoot and manage network issues and outages

  • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls

  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models

  • Work with vendors to negotiate optimal value for technology related expenditures.

  • Support IT staff in the maintenance and planning of all infrastructure related projects.

  • Oversee the application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software, or system functionality specifications.

  • Review all design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, or modification of computer systems or programs.

  • Assess end-user computing needs and prepare recommendations for appropriate hardware and software solutions as presented by IT staff

  • Special projects as may be assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.

  • Sensitive to the needs of an aging population.

  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies

  • Maintain all system manuals, SOPs and IT policies.
