Job Summary:

The Information Technology Department develops and executes the global information technology plans and systems that supports Stanadyne's overall business objectives.

As a member of the information technology functional excellence council (ITFEC) and under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology, this position is responsible for managing the local IT team, providing support for multiple manufacturing facilities and IT production, cybersecurity, and ERP systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages IT operations including staff, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software systems.

  • Manages IT employee goals, sets annual objectives, and conducts annual reviews.

  • Ensures compliance to IT governance including policies, procedures and develops work instructions.

  • Maintains detailed documentation and ensures compliance to IT governance model.

  • Manages IT projects, provides monthly reports and related KPI's.

  • Provides support for Stanadyne's cybersecurity plans and objectives.

  • Serves as a liaison and facilitator between business units to assist in addressing and resolving IT system issues.

  • Provides technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives to support and enhance existing systems.

  • Is a contributing member of the Information Technology Functional Excellence Council (ITFEC).

  • Accountable for the overall maintenance, support, and security of all local data center(s), systems, and networks.

  • Supports the migration of systems and data from local data centers to the Microsoft Azure cloud.

  • Responsible for the management of VOIP, WAN, Firewalls, Circuits, LAN's, and Wireless Networks.

  • Responsible for the management of servers, desktops, network equipment and provides monthly KPI's.

  • Maintains IT hardware inventories, PC refresh schedules, patch management, software license inventory, software deployment and compliance documentation.

  • Supports Cybersecurity Information Systems including Rapid7, Mimecast, CarbonBlack and Panorama.

  • Oversees data center management including power, air conditioning, fire suppression systems and ensures physical security is maintained.

  • This position is responsible for providing technical assistance and resolutions to ERP issues.

  • Monitors and measures the effectiveness of ERP systems and determines corrective actions if necessary.

  • Manages the EDI environment including trading partners, software and related hardware.

  • Responsible and accountable for disaster recovery planning, documentation, and implementation:

  • Designs, implements, and tests a disaster recovery plan for a data center and system outages.

  • Responsible for all aspects of local IT Business Contingency planning.

  • Accountable for the management of daily backups, testing, and archiving of data.

  • Helpdesk

  • User credentials management - maintains and audits user onboarding, offboarding and permission changes.

  • Ensures the response and closure of helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.

  • Actively develop methods to reduce the need for helpdesk tickets.

  • Develop procedures for how to preform re-occurring tasks and provide cross training.

  • Communication with End Users (known issues, work around's, best practices).

  • General

  • Support an atmosphere of teamwork and global cooperation.

  • Ensure that a clean and safe work environment is always maintained.

  • Complete any other duties as assigned.

  • Ensure that all employees receive proper training and understand all job tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing information technology systems in a corporate environment and leading a team of technical professionals.

  • ERP / EDI experience in a repetitive manufacturing environment.

  • Microsoft cloud technologies experience and related certifications for MS Azure, architecture, and security.

  • A strong strategic and business mindset along with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Results oriented professional with demonstrated experience delivering operating results in a team environment.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

  • Self-motivated, collaborative, team player able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to be flexible and accomplish objectives, both independently and in a team environment, in a high-pressure on-call environment.

Education and/or Experience:

  • University degree or college diploma in computer science, information systems or related field and a minimum of 10 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Certifications: Project Management (PMP), Microsoft Certifications (Azure, Security), Security (CISSP, CISM, ISO27001), Governance (ITIL, CGEIT).

  • Knowledgeable and experienced with data centers including Active Directory, Citrix, VMware and Rapid7, Mimecast, CarbonBlack and Panorama. (CompTIA A+).

Travel Requirements:

Up to 30-40%

Physical Requirements:

Some heaving lifting (up to 30 lbs.) occasionally required.
