Robert Half Technology is in the market for a resource for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity. The IT Manager is responsible for the company?s entire technical infrastructure including computer equipment, telephony, networks and other technology.

The infrastructure team will manage the company?s assets in a way that is highly reliable, secure, process based, metrics driven, and proactive (so that issues are avoided). Technology plays a critical role across the business so this function must be customer service oriented in working with both internal and external constituents. Vendors play a critical role in this area so the IT Manager must be able to effectively select and manage vendors in a mutually beneficial partnership. Requirements
The ideal candidates must have strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, a strong sense of customer service, be self-motivated and deadline driven... with the willingness to function as a team. ? Direct day-to-day infrastructure maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair relating to servers, SANs, workstation, data center, telephony, network and other technology ? Manage company help desk function ? Prioritize amongst competing issues while maintaining a strong focus and awareness of issues reported by users and/or monitoring systems ? Direct, coach, and focus team members to expeditiously resolve user and infrastructure issues ? This is a hands-on role ? assist with resolution of issues identified and planning, configuration, and implementation of new systems and services ? Set technical architecture strategy to meet corporate growth and other strategic priorities ? Manage email and Active Directory ? Manage deployment of applications for use across the company ? Manage security for company?s technology and facilities ? Manage technology vendors ? Other miscellaneous technology related tasks ? Produce metrics and reporting to manage technology infrastructure function ? Evaluate new vendors and solutions for the company ? Provide support for Data Analytics Team ? Serve as a general technical resource ? Support opening of new offices ? Complete special projects ? Other duties as assigned. Preferred

Skills:
? Bachelor?s Degree ? Advanced network administration skills ? Strong Cisco setup and administration skills ? Experience with virtualization and high availability: clustering and load balancing ? Experience with configuration, tuning, and use of monitoring systems ? Solar Winds specifically ? Experience with configuration and maintenance of SANs ? 5+ years? experience in IT Management ? Experience with IT Security/Compliance Required
