What This Role is About:

The IT Manager will be responsible for defining and managing the company's IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, policy, procedures, and processes. This role will work with department heads to understand priorities and needs, aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals.

Some things you will be responsible for:

Hardware/Software Maintenance

Assess and administer all equipment, hardware, and software installation, maintenance, and upgrades
Supervise daily operations of network and server infrastructure
Manage vendors and contracts for IT Managed Service Provider, hardware, software, ISP, phone providers, and more

Systems/Network Administration

Assess company's needs as it relates to physical security, network bandwidth, and office/conference room set-up
Enable teams with remote access and configuring VPN
Assist with the identification and selection process of technology platforms and solutions (e.g., ERP, business intelligence)


Implement security of the network, data and its storage and communication systems
Identify vulnerabilities, needs for upgrades and other opportunities for improvement

Develop network recovery, plan for disaster recovery, and implement backup systems and processes

Assure that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes, and regulations


Serve as tier 2 support for troubleshooting service to internal users
Serve as the primary contact for any data integration questions, concerns, escalations
Ensure effective onboarding and offboarding of employee's hardware, software, and applications and access. Manage active directory and group policies
Create organizational policy regarding quality standards, security training, and documentation

Some qualifications and skills we need you to have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Technology, or relevant experience.
3-5 years of experience working in IT operations, management, and systems administration
Startup experience is a plus
Administrator experience with OneLogin or similar SSO, SAML integration, Office 365, Zendesk, Shopify, Dropbox, and Slack
ERP system implementation and support experience preferred
Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
High degree of proficiency in Mac and PC computer hardware and software systems

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in IT, operations, and infrastructure technologies. We are looking for someone who can multitask, splitting their time between troubleshooting issues, completing projects and implementations, administering systems and shaping policy that allows us to scale. Responsibilities * Supervise the IT Team: hiring, training, mentoring, and developing our IT operations team. * Maintain healthy systems & resolve issues, acting as an escalation point for the Helpdesk team, and stepping in to clear tickets personally to ensure speedy resolution * Executing complex projects and workloads, setting priorities, and executing long-term projects in the face of short-term fires. * Cross-functional communication and collaboration with internal clients and partners. * Oversee user lifecycle management from new hire onboarding to deprovisioning. * Evaluate and implement company IT policies. * Identify opportunities for process, training, and systems improvements and collaborate with the Director of IT to design and implement solutions.
