Do we have your attention? Keep reading. ProMach is looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee and manage the IT operations across multiple manufacturing facilities in the USA.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern technologies, including cloud solutions, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and ERP systems. This position will require the ability to lead diverse IT projects, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure the seamless integration of technology within our manufacturing operations to enhance productivity, efficiency, and security. This role will be Hybrid, with primary location in our Charlotte, NC office.

Does this work interest you? IT Strategy & Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of IT strategies across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with business objectives and overall company goals.

Manage and prioritize IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and high-quality results. Project Management: Oversee multiple IT projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, network enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives.

Coordinate across various departments to ensure proper communication and resource allocation. Technology Integration & Innovation: Assess and recommend emerging technologies that can improve manufacturing processes, data analytics, supply chain, and production efficiency.

Implement cutting-edge solutions, such as IoT, automation, cloud computing, and AI, within the facilities. Infrastructure Management: Ensure the optimal performance and security of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, data storage, and manufacturing-specific systems.

Work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure systems are scalable and aligned with operational needs. Cybersecurity & Data Protection: Oversee and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

Ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested regularly. Team Management & Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative environment.

Coordinate with other departments, such as Operations and HR, to identify technology needs and provide solutions to enhance business processes. Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring that contracts are met, and services are delivered effectively.

Negotiate pricing and service-level agreements (SLAs) with technology providers and service partners. Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget for each facility, ensuring cost-effective use of resources, technology investments, and operational expenses.

Training & Support: Provide training to employees on new technologies, systems, and best practices. Establish support protocols to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

And because we understand the importance of feeling protected, there is no waiting period for benefits — you are eligible on your first day of employment If this sounds like you, we want to connect Bachelor’s degree in information systems or similar area of technical study, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 years’ experience in IT that includes managing teams and large-scale projects across multiple locations In-depth knowledge of modern technologies such as cloud computing, network architecture, IoT, and data analytics. Experience with manufacturing systems, industrial automation, and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) is highly desirable. Availability on occasional evenings or weekends to ensure technology support across the business unit.

Willingness to travel up to 30%, depending on project work to various ProMach divisions. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization. Strong written communications skills and experience writing technical documentation.

Strong project management experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello) is beneficial. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges under tight deadlines.
