Position: I.T. Manager

Location: Melbourne, FL (Onsite position, Not remote)

Shift: Mon to Fri from 8a to 5p

Salary: $70,000 to $100,000 (Depends on Experience)

• MUST be local to the Melbourne, FL area

• Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science and 5+ years' experience supporting hardware and software in an enterprise environment

• Previous Supervisory or Lead experience

Overview

The IT Manager will lead a team of IT professional with various skill sets to help improve and maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative

• Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights

• Lead remediation efforts for gaps in security and networking

• Migrate legacy servers/applications to modern solutions

• Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration

• Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that's always up and running

• Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements

• Track and maintain hardware and software inventory

• Documents internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities

• Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly

• Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments

• Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups

• Support and administer remote locations and employees

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science and 5+ years' experience supporting hardware and software in an enterprise environment

• Proven work experience in IT

• Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching

• Experience in project management, application integrations and security compliance such as SOC 2
