Position: IT Manager
Location:Melbourne, FL (Onsite position, not remote)
Shift: Mon to Fri from 8a to 5p
Salary: $70,000 to $90,000 (Depends on Experience)
Required:
- Must be local to the Melbourne, FL area currently
- Bachelor's Degree in Technology or Computer Science and 5+ years experience supporting hardware and software in an enterprise environment.
- Previous Supervisory or Lead experience
Summary
The IT Manager will lead a team of IT professionals with various skill sets to help improve and maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative
- Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights
- Lead remediation efforts for gaps in security and networking
- Migrate legacy servers/applications to modern solutions
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration
- Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that's always up and running
- Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements
- Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
- Documents internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities
- Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
- Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups
- Support and administer remote locations and employees
Skills:
- Ability to write and edit technical documentation
- Knowledge of modern HTML/CSS/JQUERY/BOOTSTRAP
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
