Summary of Job Responsibilities:
The position will provide overall coordination of all IT services delivered locally as well as enterprise wide initiatives through IDEX Global Information services group. The qualified individual will manage and lead the team supporting local business applications that support various aspects of the operations of the business, insure high availability, reliability and security of local network and communication services.
Additionally, incumbent will Develop and deploy digital platforms and tools aligned with digital initiatives to elevate the customer experience. Support the organization's digital transformation by delivering on-demand interactive content that provides customers with a convenient digital self-service experience. Leverage strong project management skills to translate complex customer needs and technical issues into simple concepts that can be deployed digitally. Develop new digital-enabled interactions that support both B2B distribution partners and D2C end users. Work with customer-facing teams to successfully transition projects into commercial operations and drive customer intimacy throughout the organization. This position will interact with many functions within the organization and also collaborate with the corporate team to launch new customer-facing solutions.
Reporting to: Direct report to Pulsafeeder Finance Leader with dotted line to Pulsafeeder Commercial Leader.
Specific Job responsibilities:
Work with the Commercial Team to develop the organization's digital platforms and tools, including Distributor Portals, company websites, mobile apps, CRM, and eCommerce platforms.
Plans, creates, and promotes digital tools in support of organization's growth initiatives (e.g., guided selling, product configurators, aftermarket support, notifications, one-click reorder) by effectively collaborating with company resources, IDEX corporate resources, or outside service companies, enlisting the needed cooperation for successful implementation of projects
Manages all technical aspects of projects and ensures that project goals are accomplished and aligned with business objectives while escalating challenges and risks to leadership in a timely manner
Serves as the main point of contact and partner creatively with third-party vendors, agencies, and development teams
Drives the creation of digital tools that engage target audiences and improve user experience (UX), while maintaining a consistent brand image across digital platforms that attracts customers to products and services
Analyzes digital activity and data while leveraging feedback from customer-facing teams to identify inefficiencies and develop insights for improvements in the holistic customer journey
Investigates emerging technology trends and new digital solutions and determines fit with company strategy to build digital roadmap
Lead a team of 3-4 members involved in day to day management of local business applications and local data center equipment and services other than IDEX hosted services.
Responsible for the day to day management of business applications and operational support that includes employee training, process automation utilizing system capabilities or reengineering of business practices, reporting, scheduling work loads, change management and other locally managed operational support activities.
Develop an annual plan that identifies local project priorities and IDEX wide initiatives for implementation according to time lines and priorities established by company management and GIS group. Must take responsibility for facilitating business integration opportunities in consultations with local company management.
Deliver local application support: Insure proper configuration, performance and reporting integrity of local business unit applications and coordinate resolution of system related problems with software suppliers or local developers or service providers. Insure compliance to licensing of all third party software including desktop products.
Deliver local infrastructure and hardware support: Insure proper maintenance of all local hardware, ongoing maintenance of contracts for equipment, monitor performance of local network communications, coordinate upgrades to operating systems and operational support through third party vendors or service providers.
Implement appropriate measures to remain in compliance with IDEX security policies, requirements for Sarbanes Oxley and other directives from GIS group.
Maintain an up-to date backup and disaster recovery document and test plans according to IDEX policies.
Ensure team manages local communication services including PBX support, LAN cabling, LAN and WAN equipment on premises to insure high availability.
Coordinate and provide appropriate level of training on business unit applications and enterprise systems for local staff within the business unit.
Ensure smooth local desktop and LAN support and also implement any new reporting requirements, as directed by the management.
Educational qualifications:
Minimum of 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience with specialization in IT or business administration.
Prior work experience in functional or operational areas will be a plus
Work experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of work experience (with minimum 1-2 years of leadership experience) in a small or medium size company with overall responsibility for IT related functions.
Experience in JDE one-world applications is required. Good working knowledge of Financial, Sales, Manufacturing and Purchasing/ Inventory modules is preferred.
Experience in bar code technology, EDI and Web based application solutions is required.

Some experience in network technologies with hands-on knowledge of LAN components, communication protocols, active directory (AD), Microsoft Windows and server operating systems and desktop software is also desirable but not required
Prior experience in managing or operating a small data center is desirable. Knowledge of backup, recovery procedures, and security is essential.

Some travel will be necessary to company locations.
