Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Commercial Platforms Team at DISH is looking for a Senior Manager of Revenue Management Platforms who will work closely with our monetization teams and software providers and build excellent working relationships with leaders across the company. You will have a proven track record of operating at scale, and consider yourself a creative thinker, problem solver, teacher, learner, and leader of people. The priority is to fully develop an operational framework suited for the domain and then lead our partners in executing that framework.

In addition, you will build a team of subject matter experts who will have a solid mix of technical and business knowledge in the revenue management domain, and the systems that support our platforms, with a core focus on continuous improvement through reuse and automation.

  • Lead a team in providing 24/7 Tier 1 - 2 operations for our revenue management platforms including billing, charging, mediation, and integration services.

  • Lead team in defining and continuously improving our KPIs.

  • Manage the release process for the Revenue Management applications and be the key interface between Information Technology and Network Engineering.

  • Interface with other teams as needed to resolve dependencies.

  • Lead the team in continuous improvement based on measurable KPIs.

  • Provide coaching for teams to ensure the adoption and improvement of practices, processes, and desired outcomes that directly impact overall KPIs.

  • Coordinate with the vendor(s) team for open items/defects/issues.

  • Use metrics and feedback to improve team and organization processes, best practices, performance, and delivery.

  • Drive continuous improvement through the facilitation of team and retrospectives, ensuring teams effectively prioritize, plan and execute improvement ideas.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical degree, or equivalent experience.

Experience: 5+ years of Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Ability to take complex problems and be able to break them down into consumable work items.

  • Record of leading development teams.

  • Experience within IT and/or Network Operations.

  • Solid understanding of operational frameworks, KPIs, and industry best practices.

  • Great communication skills - someone who is exceptional at building trust, persuading stakeholders, inspiring team members, and selling solutions.

  • Self-motivation with strong, proven, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional resources and work well in a distributed environment.

  • Ability to plan for future work while maintaining the current delivery with rapidly changing priorities.

  • Wireless Operations (NOC).

  • Tier 1 - 3 troubleshooting of infrastructure and/or software issues.

  • KPI measurements and management through tools such as DataDog.

  • ServiceNow ticketing and workflow management.

  • Network call flow tracing and troubleshooting.

Salary Range

Compensation: $140,250.00/Year - $165,000.00/Year
