JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the quality, reliability and accuracy of all slot computer systems used by The Casino at Nemacolin regardless of whether data, software or systems are located within or outside the licensed facility.

  • Directly reports to the Vice President/General Manager of The Casino at Nemacolin property.

  • Leads development and implementation processes for the organizations IT systems and department.

  • Establishes efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT systems and departments.

  • Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements and other metrics and needs.

  • Oversees security of systems, networks and enterprise information.

  • Facilitates IT security audits or investigations.

  • Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.

  • Responsible for the security and physical integrity of and the accountability and maintenance of the following:

  • Security controls used to ensure limited access to computer software and the systemwide reliability of data.

  • All electronic storage media containing data relevant to The Casino at Nemacolin's operations.

  • Working knowledge of casino gaming system including but not limited to the following: Customer Inquiries, Credit, Marketing, Vault, Accounting and Players club inquiries, offer & event histories and W2G reports.

  • Computer hardware, communications equipment and software used in the conduct at The Casino at Nemacolin's operations.

  • Responsible for the security and physical integrity of and the accountability and maintenance of the computerized slot monitoring system utilized by The Casino at Nemacolin. The IT Manager shall:

  • Ensure that slot machines and fully automated electronic gaming tables located on the gaming floor are connected electronically to The Casino at Nemacolin's computerized slot monitoring system and to the the Commonwealth's central control computer in accordance with section 1323 of the act.

  • Ensure that the security features of the computerized slot monitoring system prohibit, at a minimum, the deletion, creation or modification of any data unless a permanent record is created that sets forth the original information, modifications to the original information, the identity of the employee making the modification, and the identity of each employee authorizing the modification.

  • Ensure that the computerized jackpot payout systems utilized by The Casino at Nemacolin are configured to require that any modification of $100 or more to the original amount recorded on a computerized jackpot payout or system override is authorized by two slot operations department employees, one of whom is in a position of greater authority than the individual preparing the jackpot payout.

  • Ensure that the procedures and controls are in place that define and limit interaction between both the slot operations department and finance department and the computerized slot monitoring system including access to system menus, the establishment of slot machine and fully automated electronic gaming table profile parameters, and the ability of each department to access, delete, create or modify information contained in the slot monitoring system.

  • Supervises all aspects of the information technology department including The Casino at Nemacolin Support Specialists and The Casino at Nemacolin Systems Analysts.

  • Computer proficient with extensive experience with PC based systems on AS/400 computer network

  • Maintaining the integrity of casino operational computer and telephone systems

  • Any other assigned duties and responsibilities.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Seven to ten years of experience in computer operations with a four-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.

  • Must be able t receive and maintain all required documentation.

  • Must complete all required company training.
