Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • 5 or more years of experience working in IT

  • Experience implementing IT infrastructures across various technologies

  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems

  • Experience with Microsoft Navision ERP preferred

  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize

The Information Technology Manager will provide technology vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology (IT) initiatives that improve cost effectiveness, manufacturing operational excellence, and business development in a dynamic marketplace. This role will be the sole IT resource for the Coining manufacturing site and will need effectively manage priorities.

  • Manage information technology and computer systems as well as all desktop equipment.

  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.

  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.

  • Partner with divisional business applications team to train end users on new reports and dashboards in the ERP and analytics environment, including identifying and revising reporting requirements.

  • Reporting metrics and sharing regular updates with senior staff

  • Responsible for operating and maintaining surveillance equipment, reporting incidents or suspicious behavior, and contacting the authorities when necessary.

  • Conducting regular system audits and assess their outcomes, maintaining compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) documentation.

  • Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization

  • Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations. and outages

  • Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement

  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.

VIEW JOBS 1/26/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-04-26T00:00 Overview Under the executive direction of the Vice President of SEC Corporate Human Resources, this position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and/or evaluating Company-wide training and performance development needs by improving employee job performance. Additional responsibilities include enhancing internal communications, and policies and designing programs to improve employee engagement. Responsibilities TRAINING: * Work closely with Department Heads and Managers to perform regular and as-needed learning needs analysis to identify and determine learning opportunities. * Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs to be facilitated via web and live. * Work with the Media Group to film and finalize web-based training material. * Work closely with outside vendor contacts such as AMA to plan and implement training seminars. * Conduct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions on a variety of topics related to projects and learning needs. * Monitor and evaluate training program's effectiveness, analytics, and ROI reports periodically and as needed. * Manage Sharp University learning management system serving all business units. * Manage Sharp University content library curation, assignments, and tracking of all compliance and professional develop programs. * Design, develop, and implement original e-learning content for Sharp U based on organizational learning needs. * Administrate custom content uploading and system ingestion in Sharp U, including reporting capabilities. * Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reporting on department KPIs and metrics. * Lead, execute, and report on company-wide engagement, onboarding and other HR related surveys as needed. * Lead the process for participating in company and employee recognition surveys from vendors such as Forbes and NJBiz. * Administrate the Tuition Reimbursement/Training Assistance Programs. COMMUNICATIONS * Assist with the creation of formal employee announcements and communications. Qualifications * Possess a college degree in a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered. * At least 5 years proven track record in roles of increasing responsibility designing, implementing, and evaluating successful learning programs. * Strong understanding of project management and change management skills, with experience leading and participating in projects. * Must be able to work comfortably with all levels of management, leading projects and participating as a key stakeholder. * Familiarity with traditional and modern learning methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, case studies, etc.). * Keen understanding of adult learning principles, ADDIE and/or SAM, learning trends, and best practices. * Passionate about learning and trying new things. * Self-starter, who is comfortable working closely with all levels of the organization. * Strong leadership and communication skills; experience in technical writing a plus. * Skilled in Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate, and good organizational structure and record keeping skills. * Ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively. * Potential for domestic travel up to 10% to facilitate on-site learning initiatives.
