'Visualize and develop BI solutions (Dashboards, Scorecards, Analytic reports) that show top management clear opportunities for revenue growth based on sales, customer, and industry data

  • Visualize and develop BI solutions that help operational teams maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction in day-to-day operations

  • Design and deliver end-user training and training materials for top management as well as operational teams; provide technical support as necessary

  • Hands on Day to day Tableau Admin activities and Performing periodical upgrades and patching across various environments


' Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university

  • 5+ years of Tableau Administration and Development experience

  • Ability to provide Production Support for Tableau platforms

  • Experience Implementing Proactive Tableau Environment Health Checks and Performance Threshold Alerting

  • Experience with Tableau application performance monitoring, capacity planning, and tuning for multiple members on multiple projects

  • Expert in data extraction using SQL

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to execute fast-paced and dynamic projects in a highly organized manner on a tight schedule

  • Experience in Oracle Business Intelligence is plus

  • Strong knowledge in databases Oracle, SQL Server, Netezza, MongoDB is plus

Get your hands dirty understanding new and emerging data, and help optimize our data processes so that we get the most out of our data. * Meet with business users to understand data requirements, and design data solutions * Create and maintain data automation pipelines to pull enterprise data into Tableau data sources * For the above purpose; create scripts, tables, views, and stored procedures as needed * Implement novel algorithms in SQL, Python, or other tools to calculate simple predictions (e.g. Revenue Forecasts) * Optimize SQL queries to make existing reports and dashboards more efficient * QA data sources against source system and create scripts to automate QA process * Build sophisticated reports and dashboards in Tableau * Support production scripts, extracts, tables, dashboards, and reports built by this group * Internal support to answer data or Tableau questions from business users * Assist with ad-hoc analytics and reporting * When needed, drive business users to decisions, such as identifying KPIs and how they might be measured * Dive into business data and propose best methods for pulling clean data suitable for reporting * Subject matter expert for key business data and how key data is sourced and reported * Create training materials and documentation for data sources Requirements * 3+ years of experience working as a professional in a reporting or data analytics capacity * 3+ years of experience writing SQL Queries, Functions and Procedures (any DB - MSSQL, Oracle, Teradata) * 2+ years of experience in Tableau for design and development of interactive dashboards * Experience writing automation jobs in Python, PowerShell or other scripting language * Expertise in gathering business requirements and devising reporting solutions * Can lead meetings and communicate effectively to move projects forward * Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently without increasing technical debt * Advanced knowledge on usage of Tableau Parameters, Dashboard Actions and Data Blending * Experience publishing Tableau workbooks in production environment * Proficient at writing optimized queries on large volume of data * Good understanding of Data warehouse/Data-mart concepts * Knowledge of ETL and experience with at least one ETL tool (e.g. SSIS) * Knowledge of HIVE or other Non-relational Databases * Motivated self-starter, with meticulous attention to detail Job Responsibilities * Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop data and reporting solutions * Help manage a production Tableau server and report environment with 300+ users * Create and manage Tableau incremental and full data extracts as per requirement for use by business users * Write queries to pull data from a SQL Data Warehouse as well as Hadoop Data Like * Propose creative workarounds considering the limitations of Tableau * Ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple systems and reports; work with tech and BI teams to resolve data inconsistencies * Write scripts in Python, PowerShell and SQL as needed to manage data flows * Build advanced Tableau Reports and Visualizations, and, as needed, help business users do the same * Provide production support for critical data sources and dashboards * Assist business users with ad-hoc analytics and reporting * Training and Documentation as needed Why LendingTree? * Flex your Data Muscles!
