Our Corporate IT is looking for a motivated Information Technology major who has completed (at a minimum) their junior year and is interested in learning about "all things IT" while working for a publicly held company who prides itself on upholding the values of Integrity, Respect, Safety and Excellence.

You'll spend the summer being mentored by our IT Dept. leadership in our Corporate HQ building in Downtown Boise, ID. We'll provide you with meaningful learning experiences while getting to enjoy the benefits of a corporate work environment, in a company who seeks to deliver excellent customer service. Responsibilities

Learn the organization's policies, processes, products and/or services and perform duties and responsibilities based on the incumbent's functional work assignment. Acquire industry knowledge.

Apply educational knowledge, skills and abilities to complete work assignments. Receives close supervision and usually works with regular checks on progress and verification of completeness and accuracy of work. Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
The successful candidate may either be a recent Graduate, currently attending college in their Junior or Senior year, or pursuing their Masters or Advanced degree.

Course of study may be in information technology, engineering, general business, or acceptable equivalent. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. Excellent attention to detail, documentation skills, and presentation skills are imperative. PC skills are essential - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Candidates must be able to reside in the Boise area in the summer of 2020.

The position is responsibility for application of approved microbiological techniques and methodologies used in analytical testing. ? ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare samples for indicator organisms, pathogens, and chemistries * Apply aseptic techniques in daily workload * Maintain media and reagents as needed for daily microbiological testing * Inventory and report expendable supplies/materials needed for testing requirements * Provide routine preventive maintenance by daily cleaning, sanitizing, and trash disposal * Perform quality control monitoring by taking incubator temperatures, inoculating control organisms, running media controls, etc. * Maintain laboratory condition, to include equipment, supplies, quality assurance programs, and accurate records throughout all procedures * Perform all activities in a neat, safe, hygienic, and efficient manner * Share information in an open, and timely manner * Responsible for the safety of oneself and others working within their area * Responsible for the completion of required training OTHER DUTIES * Perform other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES * This job has no supervisory responsibilities Food Safety Net Services Boise ID
