Job Summary:

As an IT Software Engineer Intern with QTC, A Leidos Company, you will gain real world experience on business process, application requirements and project management. This internship is part of data science team and will focus on NLP, AI and Machine Learning. Python development experience is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the IT Software Engineering team by providing business process, application requirements definition, and documentation for a given project or business area.

  • Interact with project managers, business area stakeholders and department managers.

  • Attending meetings and shadowing of Software Engineers

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Competencies:

  • Basic knowledge of Software Engineering technologies to include but not limited to ASP.Net, C#, MVC, MVVM, EntityFramework, SQL Server, Oracle Server.

  • Desire to take ownership of project(s) and drive to completion

Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)

  • Actively studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of Information Technology

  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation

Responsible for managing a team of professional staff ensuring contractual compliance, cost management, budget development and analyses, financial estimating, configuration management, business development and proposal support. Enhancement of provider relationships, workforce planning and development of programs, conduct market research to identify new business opportunities. Identifies opportunities and needs requiring new clinics and drives the implementation of expansion planning. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Manages profit and loss of all medical facilities in order to attain divisional and corporate goals and objectives * Leads preparation of annual budgets * Collects, analyzes and prepares operational and financial reports and initiates corrective action as needed * Oversees the operational management of all medical facilities * Ensures compliance of operational flow and contractual metrics such as quality, timeliness and customer service as well as Quality Audit standards * Ensures efficiency, professionalism, and appearance of all clinics and that claimant and customer satisfaction is a top priority; addresses and resolves customer service and core issues in a timely manner * Fosters positive working relationships with both internal and external business partners * Works with Associate Directors and Regional Managers to ensure appropriate physician recruiting and capacity for facilities and ensures efficient scheduling of staff to maximize productivity * Develops, implements and reviews performance standards, training and evaluations for all team members promoting positive employee relations, resolving personnel problems and taking corrective action as needed * Manages and monitors the quality of contractual services including but not limited to x-ray, medical transcription, and laboratory services * Ensures Associate Directors and Regional Managers maintain appropriate level of rapport with clients and participates in client meetings as needed * Leads clinic services project manager to ensure appropriate representation and implementation of IT, operations, provider relations, and other initiatives impacting clinic division * Lead clinic services Travel Training Manager to ensure appropriate new hire training and supplemental clinic staff coverage * Works to identify new business opportunities consistent with company goals * Reports matters impacting financial management, business development, personnel and operations to QTC leadership as needed * Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Competencies: * Ability to travel approximately 20% or as needed * Solid financial knowledge with experience forecasting and analyzing P&L * Superior written, verbal and visual communications skills * Strong negotiation and project management skills * Experience in developing and managing a budget * Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and the desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment * Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment * Proven ability to execute multiple tasks efficiently and effectively * Must be able to delegate effectively * Strong knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new software Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses) * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or experience/combined education * Master's Degree preferred * Minimum 20 years of experience leading multiple teams/departments and supervision of team managers * Significant familiarity with Occupational and Industrial Medicine with 5 years of experience in an Occupational and Industrial Medicine or Urgent Care environment) * Experience in health related field working with medical professionals and Client relations management experience preferred * Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation This job description supersedes all prior job descriptions and is intended to describe the general content and essential requirements for the position listed above.
