We're looking for an IT Innovation Manager for one of our top-notch clients in the Denver area. Startup mentality with strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT and Blockchain.

As the IT Innovation Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership of the Innovation group, within Information Technology Services (ITS), and the functions and associates who operate within the group. Position provides leadership, vision, strategic direction and day-to-day management and is responsible for the overall effectiveness of the function and its relationship within the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Researches emerging technologies and their potential application to current and future business initiatives. Examples include artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT and Blockchain

Provides advancement of technology through demos, pilots and proof-of-concepts using websites, mobile apps, virtual reality and augmented reality

Provides progression of business technology solutions in the areas of data analytics and business intelligence

Leads technical consultation with technology start-up vendors, academic institutions, interns and internal stakeholders

Manages and provides leadership for the functional group's development, direction, and effectiveness, adhering to organizational policies and processes and supporting overall business and corporate objectives

Participates and promotes subordinate participation on cross functional and/or inter-organizational teams

Leads the strategy and long-range planning processes within areas of responsibility

Accountable for planning and processes within areas of responsibility

Communicates effectively with all levels of management, including officers and directors, in group presentations and one-on-one

Directs the development and management of budget for areas of responsibility

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or, equivalent of education and experience enough to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

Experience

Minimum 10 years' experience

Requires 7 years of IT management experience in areas of responsibility within a comparably sized or larger company

A strong demonstrated background in hardware, software, and data technology architecture functions

Proven experience delivering technology solutions at any level of the technology stack ranging from backend data storage to front-end user-interface (on-premise and cloud-based) as well as data integration technologies

Skills

Highly skilled at communicating innovation initiatives and point-of-view/value proposition in a clear and compelling manner across diverse groups including leaders and technical staff

Skilled at aligning organization and business goals, with success driving and managing organizational change

Proven leadership and managerial abilities demonstrated by developing, coaching, and training others in an organizational setting

Brief Summary of Role Appirio is looking for a Salesforce Product Manager who is passionate about building products for the Salesforce ecosystem. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company's vision and strategy. Based on customer, market, and partner needs the Product Manager will identify innovative and differentiated products for Appirio to bring to market. Work closely with Product Engineering to develop the solution based on your requirements. Finally, they will ensure solutions are accurately positioned in the market (customers, prospects, partners, analysts) and with Appirio (sales, delivery). Ultimately drive pipeline bookings and revenue through successful product creation. Responsibilities 1. Build the right product * Maintain a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and audiences * Define market opportunity, identify whitespace and product gaps to generate new ideas for product development * Collaborate with key customers and prospects to understand solution needs, pains & gaps to create unique value-added solutions * Closely interface with channel partner and vertical industry teams to understand competing solutions and desired differentiators * Define the Product Vision and Product Strategies and create buy-in both internally and with key external partners 2. Prioritize, Build, Evolve the Product * Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact * Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes * Work closely with engineering teams to review and provide feedback on completed stories as development progresses. * Manage backlog and desired feature requests into a product roadmap * Drive product launches including working with the marketing team, executives, and other product management team members * Lead the charge to establish and optimize best-in-class product development processes 3. Product Launch and Sales Enablement * Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding * Explaining products, features, and capabilities in terms that customers understand * Develop product pricing and positioning strategies * Represent the company by visiting customers and partners to solicit feedback on company products and services * Pre-sales & Sales enablement * Product demonstrations 4. GTM & Ongoing Success * Go to market strategy and marketing campaign guidance for Product Marketing * Coaching Sales, working directly with customers * Customer success tracking and feedback leading to the continuous development and future iterations of the product Education and Required Experience * 5+ years total Salesforce experience, * 3+ years experience in product management for a B2B software or technology company, with a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product * Creative, high energy, innovative, proactive and resourceful. Someone who thinks on their feet is comfortable with change and enjoys problem-solving. * Must have excellent teamwork, organizational and multitasking skills. * Exceptional verbal/written communications and presentation skills, with experience presenting to and interacting with the C-suite. * Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management * Experience building products on the Salesforce.com platform is preferred * Pragmatic marketing experience or certification is preferred * Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies * Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization * Located and able to work in the U.S. from a home office and able to travel up to 25-50% * For U.S. only.
