Spurwink services is seeking a Support Specialist for our IT Infrastructure. The Support specialist will complete the admistrative functions for IT including managing equipment, corrdinating meetings and assisting with general functions in the department. This candidate will also managing help desk requests and phone calls for our ticket system.
Manage pool of IT loanable equipment
Manage ordering and setup of company cell phones
Ship and receive IT equipment
Maintenace of SharePoint Intranet site as needed
Manage Access control user accounts, configurations, and badge printing
Assist with the asset tracking program for IT equipment
Create purchase orders, get signatures and place orders
Coordinate IT staff meetings and IT project meetings
Code of invoices for IT department and project cost tracking
Organize and control inventory of IT stock equipment
Maintain work area and equipment in safe, clean and orderly condition
Maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
Other projects and duties as assigned based on your technical experience and capabilities
Help Desk Support:
Triage, classify, and prioritize helpdesk requests
Take calls for the Help Desk and enter them in our ticket system
Assign and prioritize tickets that come in via e-mail to support
Convert service desk voicemails to service tickets
Basic trouble shooting
High school diploma or equivalent required. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft ecosystems and be technolgically inclined. Must be able detailed oriented with strong communication skills.
