Strong critical-thinking skills that facilitate expedient problem solving.
Must be knowledgeable of and capable of effectively using common infrastructure and application monitoring techniques and tools. Excellent communication, customer service, time management, conflict resolution, and problem determination/resolution skills. Familiar with ITIL and service desk support methodologies. Functional knowledge of MS Windows, MS Outlook/Office, VPN/remote access, network printers, networking technology (routing, switching, network management) and distributed application processing.
Minimum relevant technical certification (Network+ or CCENT). Familiar with ITIL Foundation process framework (certification preferred). Minimum AA/AS Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field and 2 years equivalent related experience.
US Citizenship required, must be able to obtain and maintain an ADPII government security clearance.
Must have flexibility to work on any shift as needed.
