IT Infrastructure Project Manager Network
Locations: San Antonio TX; (Alternate Los Angeles or Orange County CA)
Rate is Negotiable
Contract: 6-12 months
Daily Duties:
We're looking for someone to facilitate lead key network infrastructure projects; Network DC moves, migrations etc.; across routers / switches, firewalls, load balancers etc.
Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Allocate and ensure resource availability
Develop project scopes and objectives - involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Develop a detailed project plan, tracking and reporting progress
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge and understanding of project management and implementation in a data center/networking environment
Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: creation of business cases, project initiation, development of comprehensive business requirements, and identification of project interdependencies
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and/or ITIL certs preferred
Knowledge and understanding how infrastructure projects work, specifically networking so you can guide engineers on how to tackle project issues.

VIEW JOBS 11/18/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-16T00:00 Job Summary Under administrative direction, is responsible for providing dynamic leadership of the City of San Antonio Youth Re-Engagement Center. Oversees planning, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of the program, including developing policies and outcomes to guide the center's work. The manager will coordinate and develop services between contracted service providers and partners to achieve program outcomes. This position requires a high degree of knowledge of working with youth who have not been successful in "traditional" public schools. Main areas of responsibility include the following: recruitment, maintaining referral network of public or non-profit support systems for youth, risk and mental health assessments, case management, secondary education, job readiness training, and overseeing day to day operations of the San Antonio Re-Engagement Center. Exercises direct supervision over assigned staff. This position is an "unclassified" position and has no disciplinary appeal rights to the Municipal Civil Service Commission. This position is likewise subject to at-will employment status and can be terminated at any time for any reason. Essential Job Functions * Assumes full management responsibility for all services, activities and program quality components of the City's re-engagement center to fulfill the goal of reducing the number of 16 to 24 year olds who are not working nor in school in San Antonio, commonly referred to as "opportunity youth." * Builds a collaborative work environment in which all partner organizations supporting the initiative are included in decision-making and their strengths used effectively in meeting the needs of youth participating in center activities. * Participates in ongoing analysis of the educational, social/emotional and job readiness needs of opportunity youth to ensure the center's programming matches their needs. * Conducts outreach to students who have dropped out and are disengaged, and when appropriate, works with the youth's parents or guardians. * Provides youth with supportive social services designed to overcome personal, health, transportation, school attendance, employment, and other functional barriers. * Utilizes student and community data to implement data-driven decisions and practices. * Fosters a culture of innovation and excellence in the center and also within the youth development community, including school districts and partner organizations. * Leads the development of a tracking system for youth and program data to assist with evaluation measures. * Develops relationships with alternative education, training programs and nonprofits to develop a robust referral system. * Establishes and maintains effective working relationships to ensure management and partner organizations are kept informed of program activities by providing products such as reports, updates and presentations. * Assumes significant responsibilities for the preparation and administration of assigned program budget. * Prepares and delivers presentations, conducts interviews to diverse audiences, including City Council, board meetings, media events and other public events, as needed. * Assists in developing and implementing marketing and recruitment campaigns. * Supervises and coordinates the daily operations and performance of partner organizations' staff. * Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required. Job Requirements * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. * Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in planning, business, finance, or a related field. * Two (2) years of supervisory experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's Degree in social service/human service,criminal justice, or education. Minimum of 5 years professional experience in program management, counseling, education, social services, alternative education, or juvenile justice. * Experience in counseling, training, teaching, or juvenile justice required, must have experience working with youth of diverse backgrounds. * Knowledge of the Bexar County public school system, public agencies and community organizations, Bexar County employment, education, and training systems. * Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. * Strong writing and presentation skills. * Strong data entry and database management skills. * Strong experience managing contracted service providers. * Demonstrated experience and proven ability to successfully facilitate internal and external teams and stakeholders. * Grant management experience and knowledge of publicly-funded youth workforce development programs. * Fluency in Spanish a plus. * Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays if needed. * Philosophical agreement with the goals and objectives of the San Antonio Youth Re-Engagement program. * Valid Texas Driver's License OR valid driver's license from another state with the ability to obtain a valid Texas Driver's License within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident. Use of your own personal vehicle may at times be required and proof of Liability Insurance will be required.
